  "job_description": "Senior Programme Manager Software Integration / Transformation Programme\n\nLocation: Birmingham (flexible hybrid 1 day per week onsite)\n\nSalary: Competitive + Benefits\n\nContract: Full-time, Fixed Term (12 months)\n\nWe are looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior Programme Manager to take ownership of a large, high-profile, and complex software integration programme. This role requires an individual with exceptional delivery focus, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of leading successful technology programmes in demanding environments.\n\nYou will operate at a senior level, working with both internal and external stakeholders, including challenging and complex clients. This is a highly visible, business-critical programme that demands a detail-oriented, commercially aware leader who thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure settings.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Lead and manage multiple delivery workstreams as part of a major software integration programme.\n• Chair programme boards and lead regular reporting across senior stakeholder groups.\n• Own and manage RAID logs, risk mitigation, dependency mapping, and change control processes.\n• Develop and maintain high-level plans, ensuring alignment with workstream-level planning.\n• Oversee financial forecasting and spend tracking in line with programme budgets.\n• Define and track delivery KPIs, including quality and defect metrics.\n• Build strong relationships across client and internal teams, ensuring expectations are aligned and managed.\n• Provide insight, impact analysis and recommendations to support swift and informed decision-making.\n• Continuously improve and optimise delivery processes, introducing automation where beneficial.\n• Establish clear success criteria and ensure prioritisation aligns with strategic outcomes.\n\nAbout You\n• You are a seasoned Programme Manager or Programme Lead with significant experience in software delivery and integration programmes.\n• You have a strong delivery mindset and are comfortable operating under pressure and to tight timescales.\n• You are confident working with senior stakeholders and can challenge constructively when necessary.\n• You understand the software development lifecycle and have experience within agile, DevOps or cloud-based environments.\n• You have strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate delivery teams.\n• Salesforce experience is desirable.\n• Previous experience in the CRM or customer billing solutions sector would be an advantage but is not essential.\n\nWhats on Offer\n• A competitive salary and bonus & benefits package\n• 12-month fixed term contract\n• days holiday plus bank holidays\n• Pension with employer contributions\n• Wellbeing and employee support programme\n• Retail discounts and benefits platform\n• 24/7 GP service\n• Onsite parking and gym access\n\nIf you are a proactive and experienced programme leader ready for a new challenge in a critical role, we would love to hear from you.",
