  "job_description": "Contract Opportunity - SDET – 12 Months – £575 p/d Inside IR35\nNOTE: Candidates for this contract must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).\n\nBirmingham (hybrid, 2–3 days per week on-site)\nWe are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support a major UK infrastructure programme. This role is suited to a hands-on automation specialist who can design, implement, and manage modern testing frameworks while working closely with engineering and project stakeholders.\n\nDevelop and implement a test automation framework integrated with Azure DevOps.\nEstablish and maintain a centralised automation testing repository.\nBuild data-driven automated regression test suites.\nConduct manual testing where automation is not feasible (exception-based).\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Dataverse, API Testing, Power Automate, Azure API Management (APIM)\nExperience setting up automation testing within CI/CD pipelines\nKnowledge of performance testing, security testing, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2).\nPerformance and security testing results.\nUAT sign-off documentation.\nRegression testing evidence.\nA test framework capable of running within Azure DevOps.\nAll test materials approved by relevant architecture, QA, and project stakeholders.\n\nFamiliarity with IT governance and best practices.\nProven experience working independently as an automation test engineer within project delivery teams.\nIf you’re a contract senior SDET with strong automation capabilities and experience working in complex delivery environments, apply today.",
