  "job_description": "Contract Opportunity – Hardware/Software Engineer\n\nMarlow | 6-Month Contract\n\nKDC Projects are looking for an experienced Hardware/Software Engineer to join our customer-based Projects team onsite in Marlow, supporting the delivery of high-reliability systems across aerospace, aviation, defence, and emergency services.\n\nYou’ll be working on critical engineering projects including bespoke software applications and advanced avionics/communication systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Support DAL-C objectives for existing C-coded software within a Logic Control Unit\n• Upgrade and enhance the configuration tool using LabVIEW\n• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, safety-critical solutions\n\nKey Skills & Experience\n• Strong C / C++ programming experience\n• LabVIEW development experience\n• Familiarity with DO-178C airborne software standards\n• Strong problem-solving and engineering collaboration skills\n• 5–10+ years’ industry experience preferred\n• BPSS clearance (or ability to obtain)\n\nIf you’re an engineer with aerospace or safety-critical software experience and are open to an onsite contract role in Marlow, we’d love to hear from you.\n\n📩 Contact me at speters@kdcprojects.com / 01202 596376",
