Job Description Nokia Bell Labs is the world-renowned research arm of Nokia, having invented many of the foundational technologies that underpin information and communications networks and all digital devices and systems. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn • Contribute to a Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) platform, which supports state-of-the-art training and inference features with a focus on sustainable MLOps practices • Contribute to a GenAI and AI/ML systems. • Design and implement research ideas in the field of AI/ML • Work on developing solutions using Deep NN, Reinforcement Learning, Speed up learning approaches, etc. • Work with different platforms and Proof of Concepts to validate the contributed / proposed solutions • Build a framework combining concepts in autonomous agents and decentralized systems • Work on the Auction based network selection approaches • Explore and get familiar with various open-source software libraries. Key Skills And Experience Must have: • Student enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science/Engineering. • Good knowledge of Machine Learning concepts. • Hands-on experience with transformer architecture • Good programming skills in Python • Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating distributed systems is a big plus. • Language skills: English Nice to have: • Experience with Deep Neural Network (DNN) interpretability and reliability engineering. • Good knowledge of Deep Reinforcement Learning. • Familiarity with finetuning and alignment of open-weight models is a plus • Good knowledge of distributed systems is a plus • A strong publication record is a plus Location: Stuttgart (Germany) About Us Advancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.
