Lead Full Stack Developer Job Description Purpose of the role To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.. • If managing a team, they define jobs and responsibilities, planning for the department's future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes. Drive the architecture and optimization of scalable client reporting platforms built on Spring Boot and modern technology stacks, delivering hundreds of thousands of reports daily with high performance and reliability. Accountable for service stability under strict SLAs, rapid production issue resolution, and continuous improvement through advanced monitoring, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic innovation. To be successful, you should have: • Team Leadership with Offshore Delivery Coordination- Proven experience leading and managing a high-performing local technology team, with considerable capability to coordinate delivery with offshore leads and their respective teams. Demonstrated ability to align priorities, plans, and execution across locations through effective communication, dependency management, and governance, while maintaining clear accountability for local team outcomes, platform stability, and client commitments. • Technical Expertise in Scalable Reporting Platforms: Bring deep experience with Spring Boot and Angular micro-frontends and modern design patterns and technology stacks to architect, build, and optimize high-volume enterprise-grade client reporting systems that generate hundreds of thousands of reports daily with good performance, scalability, and reliability. • Service Delivery & SLA-Driven Production Support: Maintain platforms operating under strict SLAs, ensuring timely and accurate report delivery, and resolve production issues quickly and accurately through good incident-management practices and technical expertise.
