  "job_description": "Role / Job Title: Senior Teamcenter Developer Teamcenter Migration Project\nWork Location: Plots 1 & 2, Prologis Park Interchange, Progress Way, Birmingham B40 1AB\nMode of Working:Onsite\nDuration:6 Months\n• Apply PLM and Teamcenter expertise to transformation programmes where robust engineering data management directly strengthens how organisations innovate and deliver value to their customers.\n• Lead complex Teamcenter customisation and migration initiatives-ensuring data integrity, seamless integrations, and scalable architectures that support long term business growth.\n• To collaborate with global teams, bringing technical leadership, problem solving capability, and a continuous improvement mindset to deliver PLM solutions that truly elevate client operations.\n\nThe Role\nExperienced Senior Teamcenter Developer to support Teamcenter migration and transformation program. The role involves defining and designing robust migration strategies, developing extraction & migration utilities and automation, and ensuring data accuracy and system stability throughout the end to end migration lifecycle. This position requires deep technical expertise in Teamcenter, strong problem solving skills, and hands on experience delivering complex PLM migration initiatives.\nYour Responsibilities(Up to 10, Avoid repetition)\n• Design and implement migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, load flows, and validation frameworks.\n• Develop custom migration utilities, scripts, and tools using ITK, SOA, Java, Shell/Python, or other relevant technologies.\n• Perform thorough data validation, cleansing, mapping, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements.\n• Ensure system integrity, performance, and stability across environments throughout the migration lifecycle.\n• Collaborate with architecture, functional, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure smooth planning, execution, and cutover of migration activities.\n• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, configuration, and Teamcenter customizations during migration.\n• Document all technical processes, migration approaches, test results, and verification steps.\n\nYour Profile\nEssential Skills / Knowledge / Experience(Up to 10, Avoid repetition)\n• Strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TcUA)\n• Proficiency in BMIDE, including data model configuration and deployments\n• Experience with ITK (C/C++), SOA, RAC, and AWC customizations\n• Practical experience in Teamcenter data migration, including ETL processes\n• Skills in TcXML/PLMXML import export, data mapping, and validation\n• Ability to develop custom migration utilities using Java, C/C++ or Shell\n• Strong understanding of SQL databases (Oracle/MSSQL) and query optimization\n• Experience with Teamcenter APIs (REST, SOA) and integration frameworks\n• Strong debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills\n• Experience with legacy PLM (Teamcenter Enterprise) migrations (nice to have)\n\nDesirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience(As applicable)\n• Experience with legacy PLM (Teamcenter Enterprise) migrations (nice to have)\n• Experience with workflow design, process automation, and BMIDE extensions\n• Ability to create technical documentation, migration playbooks, and support guides",
