  "job_description": "Job Title: Golang Engineer, Golang Developer\n\nLocation: Burgess Hill, Sussex, UK\n\nJob Type: Contract\n\nLength: 12 months + extensions (long term, muli-year project)\n\nDay rate: £280 - £310 per day (inside IR35)\n\nWorking setup: 3 days per week onsite / 2 day Remote\n\nTalent-Relay have partnered with a global player in the financial services sector to urgently on-board an experienced Golang Engineer / Go Developer into a project team.\n\nSuccessful candidate will join the team on an initial 6-month contract with extension highly likely.\n\nThe successful Golang Engineer / Go Developer will help develop innovative solutions for the client’s customer platform and will be involved in design system solutions, building modern microservices-based applications while collaborating closely with development teams and SREs.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Design, develop, and modify custom applications.\n• Create and test resilient software, focusing on high-volume REST APIs.\n• Drive migration from legacy systems to microservices architecture.\n• Partner with teams across development, QA, and production support.\n\nRequired Skills:\n• Solid experience with Golang, Git, REST Web Services, Jenkins, NoSQL, PostgreSQL\n• Experience in application design, Agile development, and CI/CD tools.\n• Experience of messaging service (ideally Kafka / RabbitMQ)\n• Understanding of BDD / TDD\n• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and a desire to learn new technologies.\n\nPreferred:\n• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.\n• Experience with open-source contributions.",
