  "job_description": "Job Description:\n\nJob Title: Hardware Electronics Test Engineer\n\nLocation: Essex, UK\n\nJob Type: Full-time contract, 06 months\n\nWork Model: Onsite\n\nSummary:\n\n• We are seeking a Hardware Electronics Test Engineer with strong hands-on testing experience to support hardware validation and compliance activities. The successful candidate will work within a structured test environment, producing high-quality reports and ensuring products meet required EMC, Radio, and Safety standards.\n\n• This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong electronics background and an eagerness to learn within a compliance-focused testing environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n• Conduct hardware testing and validation activities\n\n• Produce detailed test reports and documentation\n\n• Operate electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analysers)\n\n• Support compliance testing (EMC, Radio, Safety standards)\n\n• Optimise test tools and scripting processes\n\n• Analyse, organise, and present test data clearly\n\n• Attend and support activities at external test houses\n\n• Apply structured test and validation methodologies\n\nEssential Skills & Experience:\n\n• Strong engineering mindset with eagerness to learn\n\n• Background in Electronics Engineering (or related discipline)\n\n• Hands-on experience using electronics test equipment\n\n• Knowledge of compliance standards (EMC, Radio, Safety)\n\n• Experience using test scripts and validation methodologies\n\n• Ability to sort, analyse, and present technical test data\n\n• Willingness and ability to attend external test facilities\n\n• Note: Candidates must be able to access external test houses (no medical restrictions such as pacemakers that would prevent entry).\n\nDesirable Skills (Nice to Have):\n\n• Experience collaborating with developers to design test cases\n\n• Ability to summarise complex technical information for different audiences\n\n• Experience managing a test workstack or workflow\n\n• Basic Python scripting experience\n\nCandidate Profile:\n\n• Prior hands-on hardware testing experience\n\n• Exposure to compliance testing environments\n\n• Structured, organised, and deadline-driven\n\n• Strong communication skills",
