  "job_description": "• Telford location - 2 days on site p/week\n• Active SC required\n• Up to £500/d inside ir35\n• 6-month duration\n• Experience required in SAS, Git, ETL tools, data virtualisation, Agile, DevOps tools\n\nRole Opportunity\n\nThis project will merge the RSDD APIs, TXR002 and ADE, into a single central calculations service for all consumers. As both are functionally equivalent, consolidation will reduce complexity, simplify change management, and deliver cost efficiencies.\n\nThe role sits within a new Scrum team on the Minerva Platform, developing Ingestion and Risking capabilities within the SAS Platform, including IDP.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Design and deliver scalable data integration and transformation solutions using Pentaho, Denodo, Talend and SAS.\n• Build and maintain data pipelines and services to support BI and analytics platforms.\n• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.\n• Promote Agile and Scrum practices, ensuring efficient sprint delivery and continuous improvement.\n• Implement DevOps principles, including CI/CD, automated testing and deployment.\n• Mentor junior engineers and encourage technical excellence.\n• Maintain high standards of data quality, governance and security.\n\nKey Skills Required:\n• SAS 9.4 (DI) and SAS Viya 3.x (SAS Studio, VA, VI)\n• Platform LSF, Jira and platform support\n• Git version control\n• Strong ETL expertise (Pentaho, Talend) and data virtualisation (Denodo)\n• Proficient in SAS for analytics and reporting\n• Good knowledge of Oracle (desirable)\n• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum\n• Hands-on DevOps experience (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)\n• Strong SQL and data modelling skills\n• Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n• Proven track record of data projects and teams.\n• Certifications in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, or relevant data technologies are a plus.\n\nTo be Considered:\n\nPlease either apply by clicking online or emailing me directly to .
