  "job_description": "• Inside IR35 Contract - Up to £850 per day\n• 3 Days per week in Central London\n• 6-Month Initial Contract (2 Years+ Project Scope)\n• Start Date : April 2026\n\nHunter Bond are working alongside a leading Commodities Trading firm and assisting in their search for a Snowflake Data Platform Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on implementing, optimising, and operating Snowflake-based data solutions to support analytics and business insights.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data models, schemas, and pipelines .\n• Orchestrate ETL/ELT workflows using Dagster or Airflow .\n• Implement infrastructure automation with Terraform for Snowflake resources and access controls.\n• Develop and maintain data models in dbt , including dimensional (star/snowflake) and Data Vault approaches.\n• Optimise Snowflake workloads for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability .\n• Ingest and transform data from multiple internal and external sources.\n• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure data reliability and platform stability .\n• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and architects to deliver robust, secure, and maintainable data services .\n\nTechnical Skills Required\n• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake , dbt , Dagster/Airflow , Terraform , and AWS (S3, IAM) .\n• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java , with deep understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and data lifecycle management .\n• Knowledge of secure access patterns (OAuth/OIDC), data modelling (Data Vault, Star/3NF), and performance optimisation within Snowflake.",
