  "job_description": "Stellenbezeichnung: Junior Data Engineer (Extern) (f/m/d)\n\nAbout the Company\n\nThe Data Engineer role at Porsche Engineering Romania is essential to digitalization transformation, providing the technical foundation for AI solutions. Working in a SAFe environment, the role supports digital transformation by designing data models, building reliable data pipelines, and ensuring high data quality.\n\nPorsche Engineering Romania specializes in complex technical solutions at its two locations in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, including the development of intelligent and connected electric vehicles, electronics, and design. We cover a wide range of development activities and technical know-how – from conventional powertrains to future mobility, and from prototype to series development. By optimizing brake systems and developing pedestrian protections as well as driver assistance systems, these activities significantly contribute to the improvement of future car safety.\n\nAs an integral part of Porsche Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Stuttgart (Germany) based sports car manufacturer Porsche AG, the work of our engineers in Cluj and Timisoara results into improvements and innovations incorporated in the Porsche sports cars, sold all over the world.\nResponsibilities\n• design and implement application data models\n• integrate and process data from various sources\n• develop automated data extraction, transformation, and integration pipelines\n• ensure data quality and lineage\n• orchestrate data architectures for cross-functional teams\n• collaborate with international project teams\nQualifications\n• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education\n• experience with SQL\n• knowledge of software development for data pipelines and visualization\n• familiarity with data management and pipeline deployment\n• programming experience (Python)\n• interest in building cloud-based data transformation pipelines\n• desire to develop data-lake platform skills (Azure Databricks)\n• knowledge of CI/CD and containerization tools (e.g., Git Hub Actions)\n• fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus\n• team player with a service-oriented working style, and a self-confident person, always with an eye for the essentials\nAdditional Information\n\nPorsche Engineering Magazine:\nThe latest issue of Porsche Engineering's customer magazine offers fascinating insights into exciting projects and current topics.
