  "job_description": "Scope\n\nThe Software Engineer actively participates in the different development activities: analysis, architecture, design, implementation, testing, validation, technical documentation, and maintenance.\n\nThose activities are realized within a self-organized cross-functional Development Team (Dev & QA), in close relationship with the product owner(s) and the Software manager(s).\n\nThe Software Engineer ensures the robustness, reliability, scalability, testability, and upgradeability of all building blocks. The Software Engineer ensures the delivery of a high-level design, including a breakdown of the solution/product and related interfaces, guarantying consistency of the whole solution that supports market requests.\n\nJob Description\n• Define, design, and develop complex software-defined networking solutions\n• Understand user stories and convert them into technical tasks\n• With a test-driven attitude develop automated tests\n• Work with Support to troubleshoot customer issues\n• Participate in the continuous improvement of the development process and tools\n• Coach and help colleagues to grow\n\nProfile\n• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equal.\n\nTechnical skills:\n• Experience in C++;\n• Experience with software development on Linux;\n\nThe following experiences are not mandatory, and will be considered as an asset:\n• Some embedded knowledge/experience;\n• Knowledge of video and audio technologies;\n• Experience with Agile development methods and tools (e.g. Jira, CI, Gitlab).\n\nSoft skills:\n• Creative, out-of-the-box, pragmatic and proactive;\n• Quickly understands a technical domain and its complexity;\n• Aligned with EVS values: Innovation, Passion, Excellence, Agility, Accountability, Teamwork, and Customer Success.\n\nLanguages:\n• Fluent in English\n• Other languages are considered as asset\n\nOffer\n\nBecoming Part of the EVS Team not only means that you will receive a competitive salary in line with your skills and the market, but also a range of other additional wellness and healthcare benefits.
