  "job_description": "We are seeking a Lead AUTOSAR Software Engineer to support VHIL labs, production, and pre-production plant setups. This role requires broad systems expertise in embedded software platforms on microcontroller with hands-on debugging across Bootloaders, Operating Systems, AUTOSAR Middleware stacks Communication, Diagnostics, Flashing tools & FOTA processes. The engineer will act as a first responder in production environments, driving rapid issue resolution and ensuring system readiness for vehicle integration.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Debug and triage embedded software issues in Plant, VHIL, and Production setups.\n• Travel as required to production plants, test facilities to support on-site issue resolution.\n• Support system bring-up and troubleshooting of bootloaders, AUTOSAR OS, HWIO, COM, DCM, MEM stacks.\n• Automotive Ethernet and SOME-IP.\n• Support diagnostic flashing processes (UDS-based flashing, DoIP-based flashing, plant reprogramming workflows).\n• Collaborate with FOTA teams to debug Firmware Over-The-Air update mechanisms, including campaign execution, partial updates, and rollback handling.\n• Develop and maintain tools/scripts for log capture, automated debugging, and flashing workflows.\n• Ensure comprehensive diagnostic coverage (UDS, DoIP, SOME/IP, OBD-II) and plant readiness.\n• Collaborate with Base SW, Integration, Cockpit Infotainment, Connectivity, and Plant teams for root-cause analysis and resolution.\n• Document and share root causes, workarounds, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.\n\nQualifications:\n• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering field\n• 5+ years of experience working in embedded software development with C and/or C++\n• Ability to work collaboratively and technically lead a diverse team which is distributed globally.\n• Excellent knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, and specifications\n• Experience configuring and integrating AUTOSAR basic software stack including OS, COM, DIAG, MEM.\n• Experience with configuring MCAL, developing I/O Hardware Abstraction and ability to interpret hardware schematic\n• Experience with Multicore architecture and Functional Safety concepts\n• Experience with Cybersecurity concepts, configuration of HSM and implementation of message authentication\n• Experience with Compilers, Emulators, Debuggers, and other software development tools\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n• Master of Science degree from an ABET accredited university\n• 8 years of hands-on experience working in embedded software development with C and/or C++\n\nNext steps:\n• Press apply, and join the Hashlist platform to be considered for this position.\n• By applying, you will automatically also be eligible for similar positions we have",
