Our vision is that everyone has access to travel everywhere.\n\nAs our platform grows in complexity, this role ensures that usability, stability, and engineering quality scale with it in a live rail environment where failures directly impact real journeys.\n\nAct as a trusted delivery partner for Product and QA.\nStrengthen code review standards and engineering consistency.\n\nLead incident response efforts when front-end issues affect production.\nInfluence front-end architectural decisions.\nRaise the overall quality bar across our Vue/Nuxt ecosystem.\n\nTake full ownership of features from discovery through production release, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.\nChampion accessibility best practices and ensure implementation aligns with inclusive design principles.\nTechnical Leadership: Conduct code reviews, guide architectural decisions, and raise engineering standards across the front-end codebase.\nCollaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and backend engineers to refine requirements and ensure clarity before development begins.\nFramework: Nuxt 3 (Vue 3 with SSR), Nuxt Auth, Nuxt i18n\nTesting: Vitest, Vue Test Utils\nCode Quality: Mocks Server, Date FNS, Lokalise\n\nYou are not expected to know every tool on day one, but you should be comfortable mastering complex front-end ecosystems and guiding others in best practices and troubleshooting.\n\n5+ years of experience in front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular, etc.).\n• Strong expertise in Vue.js and modern front-end architecture.\n• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript.\n• Comfortable working with minimal supervision in high-autonomy environments.\n• Experience in Agile development environments.\n• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.\n• Comfortable working within a remote team.\n\nExposure to Ruby on Rails environments.\nContributions to open-source JavaScript projects or technical blogging.\n\nPrivate healthcare after your probation (including children)\n• 25 days holiday\n• Cycle and Tech Scheme\n\nPeople are expected to raise risks early, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for outcomes.\n\nTechnical Exercise – Front-end architecture & delivery approach\n# We’re a Disability Confident employer and we welcome applications from disabled candidates.
