  "job_description": "Hawksworth UK are partnering with an F1 Racing team to find a talented Python/ Typescript Senior Software Engineer. This is a Permanent hire. We can offer Hybrid working 3 days a week on site at their Technology Centre in Woking and x2 days from home. Base salary on offer is up to £85,000.\n\nThere are a lot of perks working for a f1 racing team, as well as the obvious, there is an onsite Gym, and great canteen with subsidized meals.\n\nThe job:\n\nTh purpose of this role is to deliver performance projects and driving success on track for the team. The role is part of the engineering team within Software & Data Science dept, which designs and delivers bespoke software tools to enhance the team and car performance.\n\nYou will architect robust, scalable, testable solutions that combine software engineering with data science to solve complex engineering challenges. You will also build full-stack applications with intuitive UIs and API integrations that centralise data and automate workflows across multiple engineering domains, efficiently managing and presenting large volumes of engineering data.\n\nSkills & Experience:\n• Expert skills in Python or TypeScript (and proficiency in the other) is essential, along with experience in agile/lean delivery in a fast-paced environment.\n• Degree/ experience: BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics (2:1 or above) or equivalent industry experience.\n• Software development, extensive commercial experience in delivering projects using agile/ lean methodologies.\n• Enterprise applications: Proven experience with : Complex data-driven UIs, Resful APIs and integrations, Relational/ document database (SQL, MongoDB).\n• Tools: Version Control (GIT) planning tools (GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps).\n• Good communication skills, very collaborative.\n\nIf you like the sound of this opportunity please apply now for a quick response.\n\nThank you.",
