  "job_description": "A leading hedge fund is undertaking a full rebuild of its Equities PnL platform.\n\nThis is a greenfield engineering mandate where you will take a critical equities system from blueprint through delivery, building the core Python components that power trade booking and transactional PnL across the desk.\n\nThe project:\n• Lead the Python build of a next-generation equities transactional PnL system\n• Engineer scalable, high-integrity data pipelines across trade lifecycle events\n• Model corporate actions, adjustments and booking flows accurately at scale\n• Deliver production-grade code designed for longevity and global usage\n\nTechnical profile:\n• 8+ years’ Python experience at production scale\n• Strong command of Pandas, Polars and NumPy for heavy data workloads\n• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Code) advantageous\n• Front-end experience (Angular or similar) beneficial but not required\n\nDomain expertise:\n• Hands-on exposure to Equities trade lifecycle\n• Experience with PnL mechanics\n• Real-world booking flows and downstream financial impact\n\nWhy this role?\n• Core build ownership of a revenue-critical platform\n• Direct interaction with senior business stakeholders\n• Clean architectural runway with no legacy constraints",
