  "job_description": "Full Stack Development Lead\nLocation: London\nContract: 12 months\nWork Setup: Hybrid - 4 days a week\n\nWho We Are\nColumbia Threadneedle Investments is a global asset manager providing a broad range of investment solutions to individual, institutional and corporate clients. Part of Ameriprise Financial, the firm combines global investment expertise with local market insight to deliver active investment strategies across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and alternatives.\n\nWhat you'll do\n• Lead full stack development across cloud-native and hybrid architectures, building secure, scalable APIs and rich front-end components.\n• Manage AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production environment operations, ensuring reliability and smooth deployments.\n• Collaborate with business, product teams, and vendors to define requirements, deliver solutions, and maintain system integrations.\n• Mentor and guide developers across front-end, back-end, and DevOps roles, fostering a high-performing team.\n• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and maintain robust engineering practices.\n• Support investment platform delivery, including ETFs, multi-asset workflows, and front-office systems (OMS, PMS, risk engines).\n\nWhat you bring\n• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n• Extensive full-stack development experience (JavaScript frameworks, Node.js/Java/.NET/Python, SQL) and AWS services.\n• Skilled in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform/CloudFormation), API development, integration, and testing frameworks.\n• Proven leadership managing teams and delivering projects across matrix environments.\n• Experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management with front-office systems (OMS, PMS, risk engines) and ETFs.\n• Familiarity with Snowflake, event-driven architecture, ESG data pipelines, regulatory reporting, and performance attribution.\n\nWhat's Next?\nIf you are ready to take the next step, apply now.
