Pernod Ricard is looking for its next Intern for Data Platform, starting in September 2026 for 6 months.\n\nContext\n\nAs theData Platform team, our mission is not to build business use cases ourselves-but toempower the teams who do. We act as enablers, providing the tools, infrastructure, and standards that allow data consumers across the organization to build, scale, and operate their own data products efficiently and securely.\n\nTo achieve this, we focus on delivering aTriple S data platform-Standardized, Scalable, and Secure. This means:\n\n- Standardized: We define and promote best practices, governance models, and reusable components to ensure consistency and interoperability across teams.\n- Scalable: We design and maintain a platform that can grow with the business, supporting increasing data volumes, users, and use cases without compromising performance.\n- Secure: We embed security and compliance at the core of our architecture, ensuring data is protected and access is well-managed.\n\nOur platform underpins a wide range of data-driven activities at Pernod Ricard, including the10,000+ Power BI reportsused globally. These reports rely on a robust and performantSnowflake-based data infrastructure, along with a network of integrated systems and services that we continuously monitor, optimize, and evolve.\n\nUltimately, our goal is to providereliable, future-proof data foundationsthat enable business teams to focus on what matters most: creating value from data.\n\nYour key mission\n\n- Become a part of the Data Platform team, owning and delivering topics with autonomy but also collaboration\n- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the data platform, including data pipelines, data quality monitoring, and platform automation.\n- Support data ingestion and transformation workflows using modern data tools (e.g., dbt, snowflake, etc.).\n- Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and scalability across use cases.\n- Participate in the documentation, standardization and communication of data platform components, processes, and best practices.\n- Explore and prototype new tools or frameworks that could enhance the performance, observability, or usability of the platform.\n\nIf you recognize yourself in the description below, don't wait to apply!\n\n- Currently enrolled in an engineering school or Master's programwith a specialization in Data, Computer Science, or related fields.\n- Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, including SQL, Python, and distributed data processing.\n- Familiarity with cloud platforms(e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data stack tools is a plus.\n- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and curious attitude.\n- Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment\n\nPlease note: to apply, you must be able to complete 6 months of internship and have an agreement issued by your school/university.\n\nWait, there's more...\n\nWe offer you an outstanding workplace in central Paris (best view in town!), attractive compensation and employee events.
