Netcom Training’s fully-funded NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Web Design is a fast-track, practical route into a Front-End Developer career. We don't just teach theory. You will learn how to write real code from the ground up, using professional tools and code editors to build responsive web pages. Because this cohort runs in the evenings, you can upskill and build your portfolio without giving up your day job. Complete the training with a folder full of real-world projects and walk straight into a guaranteed interview with a leading employer. Course Details • Start Date: 16/03 • Duration: 16 weeks • Days: Monday – Thursday • Times: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM • Format: Online, live practical workshops What you’ll learn You will focus strictly on the highly sought-after skills of front-end development and visual design: • Real Coding: Learn to write and edit your own code using HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript. • Professional Tools: Get to grips with the industry-standard code editors used by professional developers. • Responsive Design: Ensure your websites look flawless and function perfectly across phones, tablets and desktop computers. • UX & Accessibility: Understand how websites are structured, how to make them easy to use and why accessibility is crucial in modern web design. • Portfolio Building: Finish the course with a professional portfolio of real website projects ready to show employers or freelance clients. Career Pathway Successful participants are guaranteed an interview* with our network of UK-wide partners working with leading brands. Eligibility This is a government-funded opportunity. To apply, you must: • Live in the West Midlands. • Be aged 19 or over. • Earn below the gross annual wage cap of £34,194. • Have lived in the UK/EU for the last 3 years with the right to work. • Not currently be undertaking other government-funded training.
