  "job_description": "Full Stack Software Engineer - TypeScript / React / Postgres / AWS / Terraform / DevOps\n\nWe are looking for a number of highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineers to join a fast-growing industrial tech startup focused on reinventing manufacturing. You will play a central role in building and scaling their proprietary platform transforming factory operations in aerospace, energy, and other critical industries.\n\nThe company is focused on speeding up manufacturing for the scale-up companies shaping the future, from rockets and drones to satellites and nuclear energy. Currently running four small-to-medium software-driven factories across the UK and US, they are on track to expand to 25 factories by the end of 2026.\n\nThis is a hands-on, high-autonomy role for a generalist developer who thrives on real-world impact and has a strong sense of ownership. Applicants with frontend or UX experience are particularly welcome. Bonus points for experience as a founder, founding engineer, or working in aerospace and defense.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n• Architect, design, and develop critical systems for factory automation, real-time data processing, and user experience.\n• Own full-stack development across infrastructure, backend services, machine learning, UX, and real-time monitoring.\n• Work directly with leadership to identify bottlenecks and build software solutions that improve factory operations.\n• Deploy and iterate software rapidly on-site, integrating directly with production processes.\n• Lead projects from conception to deployment, ensuring fault-tolerant systems in demanding environments.\n• Optimize machine tool utilization and manage orchestration across multiple production facilities.\n\nWhat they're looking for\n• 2–5 years of full-stack software development experience, exceptions made for exceptional talent.\n• Strong programming skills, ideally in TypeScript and React, with experience in Postgres, AWS, Terraform, and DevOps.\n• Ability to work independently in a high-autonomy environment.\n• Experience translating operational challenges into impactful software solutions.\n• Bonus: prior experience in startups, aerospace, defense, or as a founding engineer.\n\nWhat they offer\n• Full-time, on-site role in London (five days per week).\n• Competitive base salary plus equity (typically ~0.5% for engineers with a few years’ experience, potentially >1% for exceptional candidates)\n• Opportunity to work on software that directly accelerates industrial operations in high-stakes environments.\n• Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.\n\nThis is an opportunity to shape the software backbone of a company bringing manufacturing into the future, working closely with a small, experienced team with backgrounds in military, government, enterprise, and exited tech ventures.\n\nIf this sounds interesting and you'd like to learn more, click the link below to apply or email me with a copy of your CV on smouland@eu-recruit.com\n\nBy applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
