  "job_description": "## Full Description\n\nAbout the Opportunity\n\nWe’re a UK-based deep tech start-up seeking a Generative AI Engineer to join our enthusiastic and rapidly growing team. You will have 5+ years industry experience working with Generative AI on a wide range of challenges in a fast-moving environment. The position will involve applying your skills to our two exciting, commercially focussed, core AI developments.\n\nThe role willinvolve developing, combining and scaling natural language model systems, data enhancement, collaboration with the wider AI team, and keeping ahead of the latest trends in Generative AI and ML. The ideal candidate will have a number of years’ experience with LLMs, utilising them as part of a natural language model system (ideally both in and before production). Alongside this the candidate will have good understanding of current literature around LLMs.\n\nThe Rewards\n\n• Initial salary: £neg., depending on experience & personal attributes\n\n• Opportunity for rapid career progression\n\n• An opportunity to shape the direction of fast-moving start-up\n\n• Generous share option scheme\n\n• Highly flexible work hours\n\n• Hybrid working option\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n• Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms for Oxford Dynamic’s core AI products\n\n• Work with the team to deploy novel AI products into offline environments\n\nMinimum Qualifications & Experience\n\n• Willing to be SC cleared\n\n• Strong understanding of the theory of generative AI systems e.g., LLMs, RAG, Graph networks\n\n• Strong experience deploying LLM’s for searching pipelines\n\n• Up to date with current LLM and NLP research\n\n• Experience designing, developing and deploying production machine learning pipelines\n\n• Strong background in NLP techniques\n\n• BS, MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field\n\n• Strong presentation skills\n\n• Python for machine learning development\n\n• Full-stack development, enhancement, and maintenance\n\n• GIT workflow & control\n\n• Docker for system deployment\n\n• AWS/Cloud experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience\n\n• SC Clearance\n\n• A portfolio of previous work (industry, Bachelors, semester, Masters, doctoral thesis, ...) in AI/robotics (Github repository) or published papers in relevant AI/robotics journals/conferences\n\n• Experience with Git-workflow within a production team\n\n• Experience with Agile product development\n\n• Experience of working in a start-up\n\n• Best practices in data engineering\n\n• Familiarity with MLOps\n\n• Experience with building Restful services\n\n• Experience presenting in front of project stakeholders\n\n• Keen business development interest\n\nStart date: Immediate\n\nContract Type : Permanent\n\nOxford Dynamics is committed to creating an inclusive team experience for all.
